This job was such a pleasure! It was prior to my own travels to Italy, but I can now say that this vista I created from source photos is very true to life.
One of the best parts about doing decorative painting work is being able to help people create environments in their home and business that promote the colors, feelings, emotions and memories that they want and need in their life. My client wanted to evoke the feeling she had on her travels each day when sitting at her kitchen bistro table which was placed directly in front of this completed mural. This was the reason for the stone column, it is meant to evoke sitting at the edge of a patio, enjoying the view of the Italian countryside. Hope you enjoy seeing it too.
